Painting this portrait from behind, Christian focuses on the elegance and eroticism of the only exposed area of skin, the back of the neck. The image is vivid with a colour palette of red, yellow, orange and blue decorating the pure white kimono and the Geisha’s chic chignon. In a new departure the artist has experimented with and infused this contemporary artwork with bright neon paint.
